3 out of 13

Three of the thirteen public high schools subject to IAE visit were found to have computer laboratories but are equipped with rather obsolete computer units (majority were acquired through DTI way back 2002) These schools include Argao NHS from the municipality of Argao; Urot NHS from Cebu City; and Estefa O. Monte MNHS from Danao City. The first two schools are also connected to the Internet.

13 met the expected major criteria

The visit revealed that thirteen schools found to met the majority of the criteria except for the three schools which were found to have failed the criterion on “Existence of computer laboratories।”

It was observed that the school administrators of the thirteen schools visited displays their willingness to be recipients of the iSchools in order to alleviate the conditions of their students through ICT Education.

Based on the findings of the IAE visit conducted at the Province of Cebu, thirteen public high schools were found to be possible beneficiaries of the iSchools2007 project.
